From Monday 18th May, TfL has reintroduced the ULEZ and Congestion Charges and announced important changes starting from 22nd June.
Along with the reintroduction of the ULEZ and Congestion Charges, TfL and the Mayor of London announced raising the daily Congestion Charge from £11.50 to £15 starting from 22nd June. Simultaneously, the charging period will also be extended to weekends.
Between May 18 and June 22 the Congestion Charge remains £11.50 per day, charged 07:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday to Friday.
The upcoming changes won’t affect the ULEZ charge, which remains £12.50 per day for non-compliant cars entering the same designated area in Central London.
The charges had been suspended for seven weeks starting Monday 23rd March as part of a series of measures to curb the COVID-19 outbreak’s impact on the healthcare system and the local economy.
