As the winner of the March Customer Reward program, Bahram came by to pick up his £500 reward, which gave us a chance to learn more about him and his passion for ridesharing.
He’d previously changed quite a few car providers, until a friend of his recommended Splend. He walked in the door and the rest is history.
What I like most about Splend is that, compared to other providers, there are no hidden costs. It’s all very transparent and the people here are really nice. What’s more, I’ve recommended it to several friends, one of which I’m bringing with me next month.
Bahram loves his job as a rideshare driver. After testing out several platforms, he decided to become an Uber driver, which provides him with enough money at the end of the day to cover rent, bills, and to do fun activities with his family.
I drive around 50-60 hours per week and I love it. It’s convenient, and it can definitely bring you enough money if you put in the effort.

The MG5 is simply a beautiful car, inside and out. I like the big cargo space – it’s perfect for airport trips, and it brings me 5-star ratings and tips all the time. My family comes first, but this car definitely comes second. Plus I’ve always wanted a blue car, which is my daughter’s favourite colour, so I couldn’t be happier.
But it’s not just the car that won Bahram the prize, it’s also his good driving skills. We wanted to know what his secret was, and he confidently admits that in the bustling traffic of London, keeping calm is key.
I’m generally a calm driver and I don’t rush into things. Some people tell me I drive slow, like an old man, but I don’t mind. This is my style and it works for me. It also helps keep the passengers and the car safe.
We asked him how he was going to spend the money he won. Surely enough, he already had a fun plan prepared.
The fact that I won is amazing. I can’t wait to take my daughter somewhere nice this weekend, like Swansea or Cardiff. I’ve never won anything before, so I was thrilled!
