Kickstarting a career as a driver can be frustrating. There’s a lot of paperwork, legislation, and competition, but you’re not alone.

Our Member Success Representatives help you manage the business side of things so you can earn more, get better ratings, and do what you do best. Drive.

Member Success Reps are dedicated account managers whose job is to guide you along the road, from the very beginning of your rideshare career all the way to success.

For this month’s issue of Meet the team we sat down with two of these legends, Ashley and Daniel so you can get to know them better.

It’s about time you got to know these legends. Keep an eye on our blog, as we’ll be introducing two of our colleagues.

Ashley Ward

Meet our Member Success Representatives, Daniel and AshleyHow long have you been with Splend, Ash?
For nearly 6 months.

What’s your background?
My career in the mobility sector started in 2017 when I became a management trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I moved into a busy central-London branch as an assistant manager, having achieved consistent growth and improved customer service.

Before that, I worked in management at a tennis events company where the perks included attending Wimbledon Tennis Club.

At one point in time, I wanted to work as a PE teacher and I volunteered in many high schools to gain experience.

What do you enjoy most about working at Splend?

Having moved into a predominantly sales-based role, I enjoy being a part of a team that works together to reach the same goal. Splend’s culture promotes a healthy work-life balance, which I really enjoy.

Where might we find you when you are not at work?

You can find me playing football or at the gym.

Who would be your top three dinner party invitees?

Arsène Wenger, Will Smith, and my grandad.

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

Difficult one, it’s probably a close call between Barbados or Miami. I’d say Barbados.

How long have you been with Splend, Daniel?

I’ve been with Splend for around 6 weeks now, which has gone so quick – time flies when you’re having fun!

What’s your background?

I’ve had a few roles in my career so far, ranging from accountancy right through to a senior travel consultant. The last two years I’ve been working in the recruitment space in the city, specialising in application development.

What do you enjoy most about working at Splend?

I love the fast-paced environment and getting to meet so many people from all different areas of the world.

Where might we find you when you are not at work?

I have an 8-year-old daughter, Ava, so I spend most of my spare time with her. Also, I like socialising with my friends or training in the gym.

Who would be your top three dinner party invitees?

Paolo Di Canio (Westham fan, unfortunately, haha), Demi Rose, and Dr. Dre.

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

Ibiza will always be up there as I’ve had some pretty special times on the island. But the ultimate one has to be Las Vegas. There’s always lots to see and it really is the best place to party on Earth.
