UK Uber drivers gain official worker status, with paid time off and other benefits
Following a Supreme Court ruling, Uber drivers in the UK will be classified as workers, as opposed to their current self-employed designation.
Fifth SEISS grant announced
Struggling self-employed workers, which includes rideshare drivers, will be eligible for a fifth SEISS grant which will cover the months between May and September. The fifth SEISS grant follows on from the fourth SEISS grant which covers February to April.
