When it comes to earning a living by driving in London, Abdul is a seasoned campaigner. With over 27 years of experience, he recently decided to do rideshare and become an Uber driver for earning an income.

Abdul has been a Splend customer for 7 months and, after the lockdown restrictions have been lifted, he returned to the road. In a strange twist, Abdul was referred to us by someone who he’d originally told to check out Splend.

When asked about the phone call that made him join, Abdul recalls it wasn’t just the high-quality cars that sold him, it was also the service that came with them.

My friend actually recommended Splend and said that it’s like a family business, and that everyone is very nice.

That’s when it was Abdul’s turn to call Splend.

Abdul’s advice for other drivers is simple.

Be patient and do the right thing, and good things will happen.

I’m really thinking about getting an electric car next year, using my savings with the Uber Clean Air Fund. I am confident it’s going to save me a lot of money.

It’s like Christmas came early this year. I feel like a little boy receiving an unexpected Christmas present. I was exhilarated all day, I still can’t believe I’ve actually won £500!
